Speaker John Curry was born in Redmond, Washington. At the age of twelve his family moved to Dillon, Montana. John grew up going to church and in 1997/1998 went to Montana Wilderness School of the Bible (MWSB), located near Augusta, Montana. John met his wife Gennifer at MWSB and they were married in 2001. After MWSB John went into construction where he was in the Masonry trade for several years. After an injury he went to serve at Camp Bighorn in Plains, Montana as the Operation Director from 2004-2007. From January of 2008 to January of 2022 John served as an Associate Pastor at Plains Alliance Church in Plains, Montana. While serving at the Church, John completed the Ministerial Study Program through the Alliance and was ordained. Since January of 2022 John and his family have lived in Lewistown, Montana working in construction and manufacturing. John and Gennifer have two children Derick and Kimberly.
